Since the Chapter Board meeting Sunday 2/6/2022, below are Chapter positions filled this week:
- Ms. Vanessa Bell corresponding secretary/marketing chair
- Dr. Donna Bellamy, finance committee chair
- Ms. Tinnika Ray Hankerson. scholarship chair - Ms. Evangela Rodgers, nomination committee chair
Our previous corresponding secretary (Ms. Deborah McCloud) stepped down. Her service is appreciated.
Chairs for membership and planning/fundraising are in the process of being appointed. If you have experience in Membership or Planning/fundraising, please contact Kevin Powell, president, by COB Friday 2/11/2022.
More good to great work to be done as we head into elections and plan to fully fund our Chapter Endowment of $25K.
To date, we've raised close to $7K towards our Chapter Endowment. We've almost tripled our membership from 3 years ago. Consequently, we're in all hands on deck mode and calling all Atlanta Eagles to join us, contribute and provide support as we continue to help students, the Greater Atlanta community and NC Central University.
