The HBCU Alliance 5K Run/Walk was unbelievable. There were over 500 participants representing different HBCUs across the country. The marathon started at 8 a.m. at Piedmont Park in downtown Atlanta. NCCU had walkers/runners and volunteers who participated. The goal is to have a tent set up to recruit and lounge in 2019 along college row to greet participants, future students, alumni and guests. Hopefully, you will be able to participate, invite others, maybe start a team and/or make contribution because a percentage of the funds raised goes to NCCU for scholarships.
