Message from the President:

Greetings Fellow Eagles,

Welcome and thank you for visiting the Website of The Greater Atlanta North Carolina Central University (NCCU) Alumni Association.

I am proud to represent North Carolina Central University in Atlanta as your President.  Being elected President for this Chapter will be one of the greatest roles I have ever played.  In this term (July 1, 2008 – June 30, 2010) my goal is to increase membership and create an atmosphere that will serve as a safe haven for members to network, fellowship, and to serve as a support base for our members.

As an organization, our effectiveness can be measured by the way that we accomplish the goals we set for ourselves.  I first became involved with the Alumni Chapter in 2004, and at that time I saw a strong organization of dedicated determined NCCU Alums. Since those days, I have seen a few changes in leadership and membership.  But the belief
that NCCU produces great Alums has not changed.  I have a strong belief that NCCU Alumni in Atlanta deserves an organization that they can be proud of to represent our beloved Alma Mater that has not changed.

I challenge every NCCU Alum in the state of Georgia to support this chapter by becoming an active financial member today.  As you know this chapter is operated by Alums paying their local dues, so please take the time out and support your Alma Mater.

This website is our communication piece to you; it is updated on a weekly basis by our former president Ernie Suggs. I encourage you to view it weekly for upcoming events and other news that is NCCU related.

Again, I am honored to serve as your President for this term (2008-2010). Please support NCCU Atlanta Alumni Chapter.  If you help strengthen the foundation that we all stand on, not only will you benefit from it, you will ensure that the life of this organization lasts for generations yet to come.
